Day 2 Afternoon at Napo Wilderness Center
Day 2 afternoon had a short paddle to a trail head off the Añangu Creek for an exhilarating hike to an observation tower 36 meters high (approx. 7 stories tall) with an amazing view above the jungle canopy. We saw many species such as tanagers, macaws, toucans, and monkeys. The best was a small flock of Macaws that flew close to the observation deck which allowed for some great snaps.
